Welcome to my blog. I’m glad you stopped by to check out my campaign website and I hope you’ll enjoy reading my blog. Running for City Council isn’t something we do every day (at least I don’t) and I thought it would be fun to take some time to share my journey with you.
I will be writing on a regular basis and sharing with you what it’s like to be a candidate in a city council election. You might not find it as much fun and interesting as I do, but I’ll do my best to give you a reason to come back often to learn more.
The one thing I’ve already learned is that one person can’t run a campaign by themselves. I know I’ll be spending the next couple of years just saying thank you to the many people who have contacted me and are offering their support and assistance. It’s both touching and overwhelming at the same time and trying to keep it all in perspective will be a challenge.
My first entry is titled, “Feet on the ground • Head in the game • Ready to go!” I want to share with you a little about me and what brought me to this point. I’ve already attended some interesting events, so I’ll be adding more to the blog soon to share my experience with you.
